In the days before we knew more about metabolism and some of the other weight loss facts we know now, snacking was a taboo. If you snacked, it was thought, you lacked willpower and were probably not going to lose the weight you were trying to. That is why some people use weight loss pills because they cannot resist eating. But now we realize that, the desire to snack can be a sign that our metabolism is buzzing along, burning calories as it should.
