The University of the Philippines Campus is sprawling and too big for a student to walk and so a group of mountaineers from the university thought of having a number of “padyak” or tricycle for rent to students who go from one room to another or from their abode to the school. The “padyaks” are rented by students at 500 pesos a semester. This is indeed a good idea as students no longer have to take the jeeps in going to school which costs much. Moreover, driving the padyak is a good form of exercise for the students.
