One summer afternoon Dino climbed a hill near their home. When he reached the top, he stretched out on the grass to relax. Turning his head to one side, his eyes focused on some blades of grass within inches of his face. This short range focus not only strained Dino’s eyes, but it blurred his view of anything beyond the end of his nose. So he began to adjust his focus, and then the distant city came into view instead. He found he could shift his sights from near to fat at will. The choice was his.
