Baking 101

Last weekend, I thought of trying my hands on baking since my daughter always fuzzes me to buy her favorite chocolate crinkles on the nearby bakeshop. I gathered all my ingredients first and then read the recipe once again to check if all my ingredients are already complete. After doing so, I started working out with the liquid ingredients. I poured the oil into the bowl and added the eggs one at a time. After the two are well incorporated, I poured in the sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla into the oil-egg mixture. Next is I sifted the flour and baking powder. And guess what! Instead of putting only five teaspoon of baking powder, I put five TABLESPOONS!!! Haha! I really thought my crinkles would be a mess! Good thing it still turned out to be good and yummy! It’s just bigger in size than what I expected.
