Legacy of Hope

On the last day of my friend’s father’s funeral in 1990, she felt a sudden surge of sadness knowing that she would never see him again. She stayed for as long as she could near his casket and gazed at his lifeless body. She didn’t want him to go. It was just too difficult for her.

Later, after the burial, a few of her father’s friends approached and consoled her, saying that her father loved her so much and he was so proud of her. It was indeed a consolation and she held on to it to help her move on.

i'm glad that she did inspite of the fact that its not that easy to just move on, pero trying so much harder would help us to continue life instead of letting it stock in a situation that might be able to hold us back...
